Kenya Kwa Nyoka - Single Origin Espresso

The Kwa Nyoka estate is located in the district of Thika - located on the slopes of the Aberdare Mountains in the central highlands of Kenya, just south of the equator. Soil is red and loamy, and in addition to the bimodal rainfalls, the estate is supplemented with irrigation from the Chania river.

Coffee at Kwa Nyoka estate undergoes the traditional wet processing - after using disc pulpers to remove skin and some fruit immediately after picking, the coffee undergoes fermentation before the remaining mucilage is washed off the protective parchment layer. The coffee is then spread onto raised beds for drying, while it is continuously hand sorted.

Soft pecan and caramel aromas, syrupy texture, with flavours of cherry cola and botanicals.
