La Bolsa is the name of the farm that has been in the Vides family since Dr Jorge Vides bought the farm in 1958. Currently it is run by Jorge’s daughter Maria Elena Vides and grandson Renardo Ovalle.

La Bolsa is located in La Libertad, Huehuetenango, which is right next to another partner region of ours, El Injerto. Not only is the location, the micro climate, and production exceptional at La Bolsa, but there is also a special part of the farm that our lot is comprised of. “Ventana Chica” is one of 11 plots on La Bolsa, and is located beside “Ventana Grande”, a plot we enjoyed last year. Ventana Chica cupped supperior to Ventana Grande this year, and we wanted to share just how sparkling and sweet this coffee is.

The family’s continuous focus on quality makes us excited to work with La Bolsa for the third time.
